Hello ladies! Next week will be working on this cute little bag and pressing mat. I’m including a list of the supplies you need in case you decide to join us. ** The IRON QUICK can be found at http://www.nancysnotions.com/ - and you only need a total of ¾ yd for both items.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Pressing Spot & Iron Tote Pattern by Hedgehog Quilts be Terry Albers

Pressing Spot:

(16) 3” squares for patchwork ends
1 fat quarter for binding
*¾ yd quilted silver coated fabric (**IRON QUICK works great)
1/3 yd batting
½ yd muslin for lining and 1 pressing surface
Misc. notions
6” Velcro-type closure
1 empty fabric bolt from your favorite quilt shop


Hot Iron Travel Tote:

5-7 fat quarters
1 yd muslin
1 yd batting
18” of 1 ¼” wide woven cotton belting
1 decorative button

Marvy's Brownies

Marvy made these for our last meeting and they are delicious.

Ingredients:

1 butter-pecan mix
3 large eggs, divided
1 cup butter, melted
1 package powdered sugar
1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
Chopped pecans

Directions:

Beat cake mix, 1 egg, and ½ cup melted butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.

Pour batter into lightly greased 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan.

Beat remaining 2 eggs, remaining ½ cup melted butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese at medium speed in a separate bowl until creamy. Pour over batter. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.

Let cool and cut into squares.

Yields 2 dozen.
